Pin Up

Good Evening everyone!
I hope your all doing well,
Many apologies for the lack of originality with the title of this post but hey it's concise and straight to the point ;).  So from that you may have guessed that tonights make up tutorial will be me showing you how to recreate a "modern day" Pin Up Girl look.  It's  super feminine and fresh and is suitable for both day and night.
Right sweethearts lets begin:

Products used in the video:
Eyes:  Mac Vanilla eyeashadow all over eye surfuce area (large flat brush), Mac Swiss Chocolate eyeshadow in socket line (Mac 210 brush) and under the lower lash line (slanted angle brush), Chanel 31 Onyx Noir Ligne Extreme, Eylure Cheryl Cole False lashes, Loreal False Lash Telescopic mascara in Black, Chanel White Kohl liner on the inner eyeline
Lips: Barry M Hot Pink Kohl Pencil to line the lips, Sleek Fuschia lipstick
Face: Chanel Pink Explosion Joues Contrastes blusher (Chanel 4 Blusher brush), Mac Silver Dusk Iridescent loose powder on inner corners of the eyes, under the brow arch, on the cupids bow (small shadow brush) and swept up the cheekbone using a fantail brush. Finish by using Rimmel Exaggerate waterproof liner in Black to add a beauty spot wherever you wish to ;)

I feel this is such a wearable look for any occasion and you can always switch up the colour of the lip, a baby pink would be a great alternative and is bang on trend this spring so have a little play around with other shades if you wish.

I hope you enjoyed this evenings make up and have fun trying it out!

Please do get in contact with me on here, Youtube, or Twitter (AlessiaPasquali) if there are any looks that you want me to do a tutorial on I would love to hear from you <3

Have a fab rest of the week and take care of your lovely selves

Peace and Love

Flippin' Heck

Bonjour All!

I hope you have all had a glorious weekend and made the most of the amazing weather we have had!
So last Tuesday was of course pancake day and in my opinion the second best day of the year, after Christmas of course.  A whole day dedicated to pancakes is just beyond crazy but crazy good!  And what better way to spend the second best day of the year than with a few of my best friends!  We all chipped in with making the pancakes and I showed my superior flipping skills wherein my first pancake ended up on the floor, to be fair I was really showing off so definitely deserved it! By now you will probably realise that I am obsessed with taking photos of everyone and everything so below is my little pancake gallery and a super informative "How to create the perfect pancake" by the very dapper Riccardo...enjoy ;)

Massively craving pancakes now!

So coming your way this week I will be putting up the next make up tutorial on Wednesday and then we will just see what life brings us for the rest...

Have a great week lovelies :)

Peace and Love

London's Burning

Evening you lovely lot, hope everyone is well!
So tonight (as promised) I have my latest make up installment for you.  I will be showing you how to recreate a "flame eye"- not half as dangerous as it sounds, fear not it DOES NOT involve matches.  Basically its a brown smokey eye blended out using...well you will see in the video :)...this look is a great alternative to a black smokey eye (if you prefer a slightly softer look for a night out) and enhances all eye colours so lets begin...
FIRE FIRE

Products used in the video:
Eyes: Brown Kohl pencil over mobile lid and bring out at corners to create a wing and under lower lashline, (blend out any gaps and soften the edge of the line using a small synthetic brush),  Nars Galapagos eyeshadow on top of the Kohl (large flat brush), blend Mac Cranberry eyeshadow over outer line (Mac 224 blending brush), take clean Mac 217 brush over edges to blend and give smokey effect and use this brush over the brown kohl on lower lashline, Mac Carbon eyeshadow on upper lashline (Slanted angle brush), Urban Decay false lashes in Sly, Loreal Lash Architect in Midnight Black on top and bottom lashes
Lips: Natural Collection lipstick in Rose Petal, Mac Pink Lemonade Lipglass over top (optional)
Cheeks: Myface Cosmetics Paridiso Pink blusher

...And of course!!! Happy Pancake day for yesterday, here's one I bedazzled earlier...
(full post coming soon)

I hope you enjoyed tonight's make up,

not long left now until the weekend :)

Peace and Love

Champagne Skies

Happy Monday all!
...if that exists

I hope you all had a lovely, sparkly weekend! In this post I will be sharing with you my evening spent at one of my favourite clubs in London, Mahiki (for those of you who have been you will understand why I speak so highly of it).  Once stepping into this club you feel like you have been transported to a tropical beach party in Hawaii what with is incredible cocktails, tiki decor and laid back fun atmosphere.  If you are ever visiting London then this should be your first port of call for nightlife :)
Me and a few other girlfriends congregated at Mahiki this weekend to celebrate lovely Tara's birthday.  It was a magical night filled with dancing, laughter and what seemed to be an endless flow of Champagne and tequila served up in the Mahiki famed Treasure Chest.  Please excuse the state of the 5 highly inebriated girls you are about to witness ;)...

...ahhh I want to be back there! Happy Birthday Tara <3

So this week I have my next make up tutorial going up on Wednesday and we also have PANCAKE DAY!!!(best day of the year :) so stay tuned lovelies,

Have a great week,

Peace and Love

You and I

Good evening sweethearts,
I'm putting this week's tutorial up early this week (going to try to stick to Wednesday from hereon in), reason being that Valentine's Day has selfishly gone and landed itself on a Tuesday this year! I know right, silly old Valentine so I have prepared you a little something that you may want to recreate tomorrow for your love: a strong, bold, vampy eye and fiery red lip, enjoy <3
Here we go....
Products used in the video:
Eyes: Mac Copperplate eyeshadow on mobile lid (Large flat brush), Mac Carbon eyeshadow in socket line (Mac 210 brush), Take Mac 217 blending brush over edge of line to soften slightly, Chanel Ligne Extrême in 31 Onyx Noir, Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof eyeliner in Black on lower inner eyeline, Mac Carbon eyeshadow under lower lash line (slanted angle brush),  Loreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara in Magnetic Black on top lashes

The Colour Purple

Evenin' everybody,
Hope you are all doing well despite the subzero temperatures!
So in todays post I will be talking you through how to do a very bold purple eye.  In my previous colour theory post I did 6 different eye looks and asked you to vote for your favourite.  The winner was this little purple number:
But as I mention (very inarticulately) in the tutorial, I feel this is a great editorial look but not something that would translate so well for day to day use so I tailored it a little to make it more wearable for a night out and easier for you to recreate at home :)
Start by creating the perfect base
....now you're good to go:
Products used in the video:
Eyes: Mac Parfait Amour eyeshadow on inner corner of the eye (Pointed tip of dampened sponge tip applicator from Boots), Clarins Vibrant Violet eyeshadow on remaining area of mobile lid (Round end of dampened sponge tip applicator from Boots), Take Mac 224 Blending brush and blend the line where the two eyeshadows meet, Kiko 41 eyeshadow in "V" of the eye (small synthetic brush), Take Mac 224 Blending brush over the outer corner of the eye to soften any harsh lines and take brush into the middle of the socket line to add definition,  Apply Clarins Vibrant Violet eyeshadow under the lower lashline (Chanel 24 brush), Rimmel Exaggerate eyeliner in Black to line upper inner eyeline, White Khôl pencil to line lower inner eyeline, with Chanel Ligne Extrême liquid eyeliner 31 Onyx Noir draw a very thin (tight) line as close to the lashline as possible to define lashes, Eylure 107 lashes, YSL False Lash Effect mascara in Noir, To finish take Mac 224 brush over top of eyeshadow line to soften and blend.
Lips: Chanel Rouge Coco Shine 54 Boy (using lipbrush)
Cheeks: YSL Blush Variation 2 on the apple of the cheek (Chanel 4 Blusher brush)

Purple is one of my favourite colours to use in make up so i'm sure I will use it in another tutorial again.

Still to come this week I will be posting about my snowy Sunday with my beautiful Irish lover <3
...just to tease you

Enjoy the rest of your week my Angels and WRAP UP WARM :)

Peace and Love

White Jail

Morning All!
I hope you all had a great weekend, sadly back to work for a week now :(
I finally have all my pictures from White Jail so here is the post as promised

So I will just give you a quick run down on what White Jail actually is otherwise you will be sitting there like what the hell am I looking at.  White Jail was created by my belissimi Italian friends and in their own words: "White Jail born to become an ambassador for change, to bring in the city, the avant-garde, of house and techno scene.  Think about a spot where the rules are UNCONVENTIONAL,  a place where the people are HAPPY and they can show their souls without be AFRAID of nothing and no one, the only spot where a JAIL is the best place that you can NEVER find...where the FEELINGS reflect on the walls like sound frequencies and where the MUSIC will never STOP...", so basically it's a fun night out with great music, atmosphere and above all lots of hot Italians ;)... I have a little gallery from my evening spent at White Jail last Saturday, there are a combination of pics (iPhone, Camera) and some professional ones by the very talented photographer Alex Pol

My lovely DJ friends Merko and Fabio have recently joined forces to create SuperDJ ThanksMate so it was great to watch them play
...and of course a night like this always involves chips!

Add White Jail on Facebook to hear about upcoming events
BE UNCONVENTIONAL ;)

Lots coming your way this week so stay tuned,

Peace and Love
