What Kind Of Woman Is This

Afternoon cherubs,

Hope you have all enjoyed a nice long lie in this morning,

In this post i'm rewinding back to last Sunday where I woke up here in London with my beautiful Anouska by my side and SNOW all around! Anouska is an incredibly talented photographer (check out her work!) so we decided to take full advantage of the white laced scenery and do a little shoot.  She makes me feel so comfortable in all our shoots and I feel very blessed to have such an amazing and talented girl to call my best friend.

And of course I have to put one up of the beautiful photographer

 Anouska was down for the weekend to celebrate her fabulous mamma Nicole's 50th bithday so after our snowy shoot we took to the rail tracks and headed to Stamford Bridge which is the home of Chelsea football Stadium, very unknown territory for me!

While Nicole went to watch her beloved Chelsea in the Stadium the rest of us enjoyed an incredible meal at Frankie's Bar and Grill, drank lots of Corona's and above all laughed until our stomach's ached!

Up In Smokes

Good Afternoon!

Today I thought I would share with you the little shoot I did with my dear friend Melissa last week.  She asked me if I would do her make up and take some photo's for her singing portfolio.  I think that you can all see for yourselves what an absolutely beautiful girl she is which made my job very easy!  As Mel's style is very classic I decided to do a 50's inspired make up not too dissimilar from the modern day pinup tutorial I did in February.  Just to let you all know, Mel doesn't smoke and the cigs were just props...

As we did the shoot on a Friday night we decided to make the most of it and go out afterwards for moules mariniere and strawberry beer...and the next morning the sun was actually shining for the first time in about 10 years (or so it feels) so I decided to slap some more make up on her and get her out in my garden for some more pics...

Recommendation: Starbucks Cookie Crumble Frappuccino!

There really is no end to Mel's talent, as well as being a singer she is also an exceptionally talented writer with her own blog ...so you MUST check her out, seriously her stories are amazing!

One final note,  I have been on instagram for a while now but only ever really used it to edit photos but am now trying to make a conscious effort to use it more so come and follow me if you fancy, my name is alpas :)
